Bila cinta.....

It must be true, that, love is all around.  Ini cuma pendapat peribadi aku.  According to a magazine yang aku baca, statistik Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat 2004 menunjukkan tiga per empat penceraian di Malaysia, berlaku akibat orang ketiga, dan 80 peratus daripada orang ketiga itu adalah rakan sekerja.

Skandal cinta suami dan isteri orang semakin meluas dan menjadi trend dalam masyarakat kita hari ini.  Bagi permasalahan ini, wajarlah kita dalami kata-kata dari Prof. Madya Dr. Harlina Halizah Siraj, iaitu, mulia seorang manusia adalah kerana iman dan agamanya, bukan bangsa atau kedudukannya.  Tanpa pegangan agama yang kukuh, manusia sama ada lelaki atau perempuan, Melayu atau sebaliknya, pasti akan hanyut dalam kehidupan yang lalai dan menyesatkan.

As for me, teringat dolu-dolu masa dinner in a group dengan member-member.  Baik betul sorang mamat ni tolong sing-sing kan lengan baju aku masa makan.  One of the romantic moments, hahaha, not that I've experienced a lot of unforgettable moments where I've been treated romantically.  Biasala, ladies memangla easily fall for petty stuff camni.

Terkenang-kenang

"Deeemi cintaku padamu,
Ku korbankan jiwa dan raga,
Walau pun harus ku telan,
Lautan baraaaaaaaaaaaa,
Buuuulan madu di awan biiiiruuu,"

"Ahmad Nizar," tiba-tiba nyanyian Ahmad Nizar diganggu.
"Cepat salin apa yang cikgu tulis atas papan hitam ni, pantang cikgu senyap, awak mulalah bising,"

Begitulah perangai Ahmad Nizar masa aku darjah 6 dulu, peminat Search No. 1.

Paling susah nak lupa kisah kelakar dalam English class.

"Ahmad Nizar, baca paragraph ni," teacher mengarah.

"I go to school by bus," tak semena-mena,  habis satu kelas gelak.

Jika dilihat dari sudut pembacaan, memang betul bunyinya.
Cuba lihat dari sudut pendengaran, hahaha, bas dibaca sebagai B-U-S (aka bunyinya bush without the letter "h"), lawak sungguh kawan aku ni.
Tak sangka pulak rupa2nya, ada Scottish yang sebut bas tu bus hahaha (aku tau pasal ni pun selepas 12 tahun insiden ni berlaku, Ahmad Nizar memang genius rupanya).

Ahmad Nizar memang naturally suka buat lawak secara tak sengaja.
Ada lagi satu lawak yang sentiasa terpahat dalam ingatan, terjadi masa English class jugak.
Baru aku perasan yang teacher memang suka Ahmad Nizar baca petikan masa dia mengajar.
Mungkin teacher jugak nak tengok lawak apa lagi Ahmad Nizar nak buat.

"The rock is so huge," dan kami buat kesekian kalinya gelak beramai-ramai.

Huge dibaca sebagai HU dan GE.  Tapi yang paling mahal tentulah muka selamba, ada aku kesah si Ahmad Nizar.

Dessert for those broken hearted

Kek Coklat Kukus

Bahan-Bahan:
1 cawan serbuk koko
1 cawan gula pasir
1 cawan susu cair
1 cawan minyak masak / butter
½ cawan susu manis
1 ¼ cawan tepung gandum
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda bicarbonate
3 biji telur

Cara : Campur koko, gula, susu cair, susu manis dan minyak ke dlm periuk dan masak sebentar atas api kecil sehingga semua larut.  Tutup api biarkan adunan suam.  Tepung, soda bikarbonat dan baking powder di ayak.  Telur dipukul kembang dan dicampur dgn campuran koko tadi.  Gaul rata dan campur tepung.  Gaul sebati dan tuang dalam acuan dan jangan sampai penuh sebab nanti adunan naik. (tuang dlm 1/2 acuan je).  Tutup acuan dgn aluminium foil agar tidak masuk wap.  Kukus selama 1 1/2 jam baru angkat dan sejuk kan.

Bahan topping:
3/4 cawan serbuk koko
3 sudu makan susu pekat manis
1/2 sudu makan shortening/butter
3/4 cawan air panas

Masak dan kacau hingga koko sebati dan nampak agak likat dengan menggunakan api yang sangat kecil.  Apabila sudah nampak berkilat, tuangkan ke atas permukaan kek dan ratakan. Hiaskan mengikut suka dan bolehlah dihidang.

A life less ordinary

I always wanted to know any famous people who shares my birth date.
So, I googled "born on Sept 5th", an the list goes, among a few,

• Jesse James - criminal, bank robber with James Gang
• Louis VIII - King of France 1223-26
• Freddy Mercury - lead singer, Queen
• Raquel Welch - actor

My impression was, hhmmm, sounds fun.


Out of curiosity, I've dig more what lies beneath the birth date.
